I am currently involved in writing a printer driver for an Apple LaserWriter Plus with version 3.0 ROM. Its purpose is to intercept Printing Manager calls made to the existing driver by an application and to make sure that certain security conditions are satisfied before the application is allowed to access the driver itself to print the document. If the security provisions are not fulfilled then printing will not be allowed and control will return to the application. If anyone has attempted to write or has a copy of a printer driver, or has used the existing driver in a similar manner to that described here, then I would appreciate some help in the form of code, in MPW assembly or Pascal or C.
