There seems to be a lot of news of late based on the following templates: "I tried using X in 4.2bsd and it is broken, but I've fixed it. The diffs follow." "Why did they change X in 4.2bsd? It breaks everything in sight." "I have something for 4.2bsd which simulates what everyone elses UNIX does." "Try X on your 4.2bsd system and watch it trash Y." "You need spaces after an X to make Y work in 4.2bsd." Is 4.2 really this disastorous or is it AT&T propoganda generated by a shell script on research? How about Dennis?
