I have a number of interesting pieces of Mac gear that I've accumulated over the past little while, which I need to convert to cash. These include: Mitsubishi 16" Multiscan Monitor--Top of the line, with resolution up to 1280 x 1280. Extremely clear, stable display, can be driven by a broad array of cards. Retail: $1500; asking price: $1000 SuperMac DataFrame XP60+40--This is a very elegant unit which combines a reasonably fast 60 Meg SCSI hard drive with a 40 Meg tape backup unit, all on a single SCSI ID. I think it must have been modeled on the Sun Shoebox. It is essentially new, and comes with five new tapes. Originally priced at $2795, I will now sell it for $800. Low Radiation Monitor--The Hitachi 14MVX was designed to meet the strict electrical and magnetic radiation standards of the Swedish government. Although its color balance is not quite as good as the trinitron, it is noticeably brighter, and has higher resolution due to the use of triangular rather than round phosphor dots (this is most easily seen with very small font sizes). I have several of these, all new in the box, with *2* year warrantees from the manufacturer. These monitors have been slow to appear on the US market, apparently to allow other manufacturers to get rid of existing stock. Anyway, the price is $600 with cable and tilt/swivel base.
