Recently, I put up a posting about the "General Schwartzkopf" of hard drives, for those ready to get serious about disk storage. I got back a sharply worded reply that this drive is so fast that it ought to be called the "holy moses" of hard drives. Since I don't want to get into a religious war, I accept this discription. Anyway, what is available is another 660 Meg Maxstor 8760S. It's slightly used, has a six month warrantee, and works fine. It can be had in two configurations: *As an internal drive (no case or cables).....$1350 *As an external drive (case and cables).......$1450 If interested please contact as per below: <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> sgold@well.sf.ca.us Sam Goldberger 415-383-7512 ............................................................ I'm prepared to pay COD, or drive to your location to pay for the drive with cash. I'm moving into X-windows development on my machine, and my little 200Mb Quantum isn't going to do it for me for much longer... I need another filesystem! :)
