I like the IIsi for the money/value quotient. Software is as follows: ColorStudio - by far the Best Color Draw package. Powerful, easy to use. Doubles as the best of the pixel editors for 24 bit image doctoring. FrameMaker - The serious publishing choice for the Mac. Automate large doc writing, hypertext, equation layout, imports all graphics types and page layout/word processing all in one environment. Excel 3.0 - Really nice spreadsheet, but not multi-dimentional, too bad. Word 4.0 - You just about have to have this to survive in the Mac world. PhotoStudio - You just can't get a better photo editor for the mac. This baby imports/exports them all: gif, amiga, tiff, macpaint, etc. 4th Dimension _ The superlative database. Compiles into standalone apps. StudioVision - Direct-to-Disk recording, and sequencing w/ AudioMedia card. DiskTop - The finest finder add-on that I have seen. MasterFinder is nice too. MasterJuggler - Seems more fully featured than SuitCase II. I like it. Managing Your Money - Real nice finanial planner for those bean-counters out there. Quicken getz runner-up here. Too hard to list only ten, but for me, I come back and use these apps the most. Jeff- PS - usual discaimer applies; personal opinions here, not my employers.
