I need to link six Macintoshes to a Unix file server (386 based Unix) in order to make the Unix machine look like an AppleShare disk - in that it could mounted and files accessed transparently to the Macintosh way. I have seen Helios software - but it's too pricey (how about $27,000?) and doesn't run on 386 Unix. I've also heard of Pacer Software, but they won't sell to dealers (we do want to do this more than once and it is difficult to tell a customer that they have to go out and buy it themselves!) I have not seen or heard of: Mt. Xinu's KAShare - does anyone have a phone number for them? They may be my last hope.
