[comp.sys.mac.apps] Super 3D and RasterOps 108+

kyt@cunixd.cc.columbia.edu (Kok Yong Tan) (05/29/90)

I'm having this problem with Super 3D and the RasterOps 108+ board (both of
which are 32-bit Quickdraw compatible versions): whenever I try to play movies
recorded in Super 3D, my screen breaks up and my Mac IIx hangs. When I say
"breaks up", I mean that the whole screen suddenly displays diagonal lines that
flash upward (very much like a badly tuned TV set with the horizontal and
vertical controls gone haywire). I've tried using a bare-bones startup
diskette containing just System 6.0.4 with 32 bit Quickdraw (i.e. no INITs or
cdevs except what is provided by Apple Computer) without any success.

I've tried calling both Super 3D and RasterOps to no avail. They tell me that
they've never encountered this problem and don't seem to be in too much of a
hurry to help me solve it. Help!
