There are several ways to make postscript work on a non-apple printer
--
1. use programs like "macps" or "macvert", which prepend an
appropriate header to your postscript file.
2. read the files in
[sumex-aim.stanford.edu]<info-mac>tips>generating-postscript.txt
imagen-postscript.txt
<info-mac>misc>laserprep-65-postscript.txt
mac-to-vms-postscript-prep.txt
Although it doesn't say so, the file "imagen-postscript.txt" tells
you how to modify a copy of apple's laserprep, to work with most
postscript printers (not just imagen). This is handy if you want to
"roll your own" printing software.

PLEASE READ THE FILES ON SUMEX. [sumex-aim.stanford.edu]<info-mac>tips>generating-postscript.txt If you'd just look at these files, you'd find the answer. You can hold down the f key before you even click on the "ok" box (you needn't hold down the command key). This will ensure that the laserwriter driver hears your keypress.
