As I posted previously, the Backup program in MacTools Deluxe stores the wrong folder and file selections unless all the folder names on your hard disk are unique, so you can't rely on a "setup" to back up the files you want backed up. Today Central Point Software telephoned me with the following information. The bug has been fixed. The fixed version is now being tested. A bug in the help facility of the Optimizer program has also been fixed. Next week CPS will ship an update disk with the fixes, at no charge, to all those who have already received MacTools Deluxe. Meanwhile, CPS has stopped shipping the product and won't resume until it can ship the fixed version.
