I looking for information about using overlapping windows in a 4-D application- ie multiple layouts at once. A client suggested that the application I am creating should have several windows open at once, and the user could click on the ones behind to bring them up to the front, like with the finder. In my experience with 4-D this does not seem to be done. The closest I have seen is throwing up a dialog box over a layout using the open window command. Is this something that 4-D forbids? or thinks is bad UI design (why?). Or perhaps I've just missed something. Thanks for your help. Please excuse the multiple .sig if it happens again. -- Rich Akerboom Internet, etc.: boomer@eleazar.dartmouth.edu Sylvan Software UUCP: decvax!dartvax!eleazar!boomer P. O.
