[comp.sys.mac.apps] HELP: MAC of IBM for a psychiatrist?

   Hi,
       Somebody I know is considering buying a personal computer.
 
 He is a psychiatrist and is in doubt between IBM and MAC.
 
 I would appreciate any comments you might have on the pros and cons
each one has, in work related with the profession. He is interested
on the availability of professional software (drug interaction databases,
patien-therapist interaction analyzers, etc), and where is sold.
