One of the prime reasons that Wingz is being purchased is its fantastic range of graphing options available. However, there is one very important detail they missed out on, and that has driven us back to other alternatives. Why cannot Wingz render a decent dashed line, a chain line and a couple of other basic line types (Excel has 4 or 5 line types)? Instead they have these insane patterns which one has to juggle around with, to get some semblance of a line that is different from the usual solid line. This fails miserably, especially if one is using 1 point thick lines (as is the case with most x-y graphs), and the pattern has no way of showing up. Since there must be other users facing the same problem with non-availability of multiple line types, I would like to know how they got around it (if they could). I am not averse to using Hyperscript to get around the problem. In case there is no solution, could we collectively crib to Informix to include this (very important) capability in their next release ? p.s. Has anyone heard of any fix for Wingz crashing on the second launch under 6.0.5 ? Sundar_Prasad@mtsg.ubc.ca <Internet> userffa3@ubcmtsg <Bitnet> Civil Engineering UBC, Vancouver V6T 1W5 CANADA
