As promised, Central Point Software sent me a disk containing a new version of Backup 2.0 (only way to tell it apart is its August 1990 modification date). And, as promised, it now gracefully ejects bad disks during backups without aborting. Further, as promised, new files added to folders get backed up if those folders are selected in a Setup. However, new folders created in a folder don't get backed up if the superior folder and all subsidiary folders were selected and saved in a Setup before the new folders got created.
