I have encountered a strange incompatibility on the system of a client of mine. He just got a IIci for his desktop publishing system, with ATM and several Adobe Fonts. The system worked fine on his old system (a Macintosh II). The setup is as follows: ATM 2.0 Adobe Fonts with only the 12pt. plain bitmap present. THis system worked fine before, using MasterJuggler to open and point to the fonts. On the IIci, the majority of fonts simply do not display properly. All we get is Geneva (though the font menu correctly identifies them by their names). The strangest eventy happened when I gravved some of the original disks and plopped the full bitmaps back on the hard drive (all sizes, all types). Suddenly everything worked fine. When I removed all bitmaps except 12pt. plain from the suitcase, the strange behabior returned. Sure, I can have it work if I leave all suitcases untouched, but the system worked fine before, so why does it behave erratically now? Is it an incompatibility with the IIci? Something I overlooked? I am truly puzzled by this and any help will be appreciated. Harry
