I'm planning to get one of these things for my Mac IIcx (8MB) and DeskWriter. So here are some questions... 1. Do I have to spool the output to a PostScript file before I can print it? 2. How fast is the UltraScript interpreter on a IIcx and can it run in the background. 3. What other fonts come with UltraScript Plus. 4. Can I have a sort of 'interactive' mode in which I enter PostScript commands and get it previewed on the screen (like PostShow or T-Script)? Thanks all... -- Kenneth Seah (kseah@cs.utexas.edu||PO Box 8565, Austin, TX 78713-8565) Grad Student, Dept of Computer Sciences, University of Texas at Austin "Money means nothing 'cause hacks are free..." Has anyone heard about UltraScript? I see an add for it in the September issue of MacWeek? under the Dr Mac advertisement. I called DrMac, and a salesman said they didn't carry it anymore. Maybe someone from QMS (author) or someone else in the forum can answer a few questions. 1. Does this interpret PostScript documents (.ps format)? 2. If so, will it work on a Plus and DeskWriter? I would appreciate any help on this. I am familiar with GhostScript and Freedom of Press already. I need a cheaper alternative. Mike Fort (mfort@ub.d.umn.edu, @cpe.d.umn.edu)
