Anyone out there who has dealt with a very powerful database for the Macintosh is asked to respond. I need a recommendation on a database to use for: 1. Importing ASCII lists from an IBM PC 2. Combining multiple lists into one file 3. Merging similar entries together (i.e.: given the entry [a b] and the entry [a c], create a new entry replacing the old containing [a b c]) 4. Capability to include "if" statements (may be needed) 5. Must be able to handle up to 10,000 entries with 20 data items each. 6. No limitations to Macintosh power, memory, or disk space. If you need more details or if this is unclear, please contact me via e-mail. There is a little urgency in this matter. Please respond quickly if you have any good recommendations. Cost is no object.
