I would like to let interested parties now CE Software has responded to an
email message I sent.  

They are aware of the problem running QK2 in finder mode.  An upgrade will
be available in the next 2 weeks.

To their credit CE Software has always been an extremely responsive company
to customer inquiries, complaints etc.
