This a short summary I thought I had posted last week. Since I haven't seen it, I assumed it never made it. If this is the second time you see this, my appologies. ----- I posted a request for information about Fullwrite Professional a while back and got some very helpful responses. Many thanks to all those that responded! Most people seemed to like at least something about the program. I did get some suggestions to try Nisus, but that's a bit out of my price range right now. The note posting ability seemed like a very handy feature, and I was told its Find/Replace feature it much nicer than that in MS Word. The biggest complaint (which everyone mentioned) was about its speed. I was told version 1.0 runs very slowly on the 680000 machines, although no one was able to confirm if the new version is much faster. Since I've got a IIcx, I don't think this would be a problem. If anyone wants to see the actual responses I received, let me know. ----- I ended up getting the old version from MacConnection for $39, which allows me to get a free upgrade to the current version (I just couldn't pass up a deal like that :-)). As I expected, it runs fine on my system (doesn't seem any slower than other programs I've used). It has some features that are either missing or simply better implemented than Word or MacWrite II. I'll probably get Word through the educational discount, since it does have some feature I really like, but I'm happy with Fullwrite and don't feel like I've waste my money at all. Thanks again to everyone that responded. - John
