Can someone who is using Aldus' Persuasion program tell me if it can help in the generation of transparencies with overlays? In-Reply-To: message from twl@cs.brown.edu Ted: Yes, Aldus Persuasion can help on overlays. It actually lets one do electronic Builds, just like the ones you are doing with the overlays. It has a nice outliner, and is a pretty swift program. One more *Absolutely, Positively, Incredible * FREE TIP Buy Scotch Brand 501 transparencies for copiers, instead of 3Ms Mucho expensiveo brand laser transparencies. Advantages: They come in boxes of 100; the laser ones come in 25 packs They are about $50 per 100 versus around $80 (if you bought 4 25s) Disadvantages: one must figure out how to orient them for yer laser printer. Do this by running two through; they have little notches in the corner, so send one with notch on right edge, and one with notch on left edge. Also, you can always xerox with them! You can tell which is right by the quality of the image on the final; one will be muddier, and the toner won't stick as well (the WRONG side).
