I had a page with graphics on it that looked fine in both page view and print preview. But it generated a fatal PostScript error when I tried to print to my LaserWriter. I could print portions of the page (by printing selections) but they never looked the same as on screen. Microsoft support suggested I save a copy of the document in the RTF interchange format and read it back in. This worked perfectly and my page began to print. Apparently "something bad" had gotten into the document that prevented printing but not on-screen display. Word bug? Cockpit error? Who knows. But running the document through the RTF filters might be a general-purpose cleanup strategy for problems like this. Hope this helps. Steve Herskovitz hersker@mathworks.com
