Is there a utility (public domain or otherwise) that converts from LaTeX to Microsoft Word 4.0 and back? I've heard about MakeWrite. Does that work with LaTeX files? Please respond to me directly. Thanks. -- Craig Warsaw cew@fox.gsfc.nasa.gov

I don't have the time to do it, but I can say that RTF is close enough to TeX (in syntax) that it should be quite simple to write a TeX macro package that would interpret RTF. Once you do this, you can just do your text processing in Word (WYSIWYG) and then tweek/print in TeX. - Yossie --- yossie@fnal.fnal.gov; yossie@fnccf.bitnet What did the Caspian Sea? - Saki

This question really belongs with the experts in comp.text.tex, to which group I am forwarding this message, and redirecting followups there.
