I am kinda new to the Mac world...and I have a few questions.
If it matters I am running a Mac-se with an external 20Mb hd.
with a TI laser printer.
First...Is there anyone out there in netland that uses Vital Laser
Type...that is the reason for our system and it leads me to my
next question...
Second...I am looking for new fonts to use with vital laser type.
I have looked at summex and will try to d/l one to test it out.
What I would like to know...is that if I d/l one of the fonts...will
the printer be able to print that font? and if so how...
Third...I have been using MacKermit and Zterm for file xfer...but would
like to try the MacLayers program that I have heard about. I d/l
the unix archive to my school...and unpacked it and it didn't
compile...I noticed that it was written for 4.3 BSD...and was
wondering if there is a version that works with SYSV.
Here at my school we are under HP-UX (no flames please) SYSV version 7
I also heard of another similar program to MacLayers...will that
work on SYSV...or is the fact that I am under unix SYSV even the
problem???
Please let me know...as I am kinda stuck right now for something better.
