I have done a considerable amount of work on the DMF32 driver distributed by Berkeley. It now decides between DMA and SILO modes dynamically. Whoever wrote the driver originally, did not always use the controller as intended and thus it did not work on the DMF32 emulation from EMULEX (CS11/F1, CS21/F1). It has been tested on the DMF32 and the CS11/F1. The code for the line printer port of the DMF32, that was distributed to the net, by whom I can't remember (sorry, please let me know who you are), has also been incorporated. I will distribute on request. Of course this driver is only for 4.2BSD.
