Hi All, I am looking for an inexpensive solution to the general problems that drop by my area: trashed SCSI drives, files deleted (hard / floppies), disk errors (hard / floppies), file corruption (binary data / resource fork editor), file type / creator / flag changing, etc. All the things I can "hack" a fix to, using a million & one different programs, some grossly out of date (My MacZap still works on 400K MFH disks!). What I need is 1 (2?) well-thought out system(s) for recovery of these problems. Sorta like what I have Norton for, for the PCs. Please, send your comments _directly_ to me. I will summarize to the net if enough requests for summary are received, otherwise, requestors will get summaries by direct mail. I know _of_ SUM, Norton, etc., but _don't_ know what they do. Make believe I don't know _anything_, and can't afford to go out and buy a copy of each for evaluation. Ease of use is not as important as overall functionality (I deal with at least 4 different User Interfaces daily - I can live with another!). Thanx in advance!
