I would like information about this program. I know LaCie distributes it, so I assume it has something to do with Hard Drive management. Does anyone have this program? Likes and dislikes? Thr program is indeed from LaCie. However, unlike SilverLining, this one
really stinks. It has a lousy user interface, crashes constantly, and
doesn't work with multiple zones correctly. What it was designed to do
was let one share hard drive partitions across the network, but it's not
too useful.

Well, SilverPlatter sounds to me like an update to SilverServer, which
is LaCie's version of a file server to be used in conjunction with
SilverLining, their (top of the line) Formatting/Partitioning software
for hard drives.
But I'm not sure. I'd be interested in finding out what it is, if I'm
wrong.
