Here is a list of FTP sites for the Mac. doc.cso.uiuc.edu and sumex are the largest collections of software. I recommend that you connect to these sites mainly during low-traffic hours. The transfer rate is a lot faster and you don't tie up resources that might be needed by the dayly users of the sites. doc.cso.uiuc.edu 128.174.73.30 --> LOTS: mac/MUG ics.uci.edu think c stuff net1.ucsd.edu 128.54.16.10 --> some stuff sumex-aim.stanford.edu 36.44.0.6 --> LOTS: image on wuarchive tank.uchicago.edu 128.135.4.27 --> OzTeX for mac ux1.cso.uiuc.edu 128.174.2.1 --> similar to doc.cso.uiuc.edu wuarchive.wustl.edu 128.252.135.4 --> mirror of sumex zaphod.ncsa.uiuc.edu 128.174.20.50 --> NCSA telnet - also 128.174.25.50 As far as ResEdit 2.0 is concerned, it is available either from APDA ($35) or from BMUG ($4 on a utility disk - you can get their catalog by either calling (415) 549 2684, faxing to (415) 849 9026, or writing to" 1442A Walnut St., #62 Berkeley, CA 94709-1496 They have a wide selection of mac software (freeware, shareware....).
