If I call up the UNIX machine from my VAX workstation via Telnet, the arrow keys work. If I call up the VAX from my Macintosh using MicroPhone II, the arrow keys work. But If I call up the UNIX machine from my Mac (at least if I go thru the VAX and Telnet; usually I don't call up the Sun directly), the arrow keys don't work. Does anyone know a fix? If it's on the Mac end, great. If it's on the UNIX end, you're gonna have to explain it to me carefully... Thanks. -- - Rich Holmes rich@suhep.bitnet Syracuse U. Bourne/Korn Shells C shell ------------------ ------- add the lines: add the line: set TERM=vt100 setenv TERM vt100 export TERM to your .cshrc file. to your .profile file. I use the C shell and this mechanism works great for me. Microphone terminal mode has to has to be set to 'VT102/ANSI.' =============================================================================== Steve Witten stevewi%hpspdra@hplabs.hp.com Intelligent Networks Operation ...!hplabs!hpspdra!stevewi Hewlett-Packard Co. stevewi@hpspdra.spd.hp.com
