Choose it and find "the entry called Open Document with Rulers. Then hit the right button "and it will be placed in the format menu so you can turn it on or off. So far so good, except when you've found the command (Open Document with Rulers) click the Do button at the upper right. From then on all documents open with the rulers and header and footer windows also come up with the ruler on. Shirley Kehr
