Any information on X servers for the Mac ? Looking on this newsgroup I've seen some reference to a product called MacX. Are there other X servers around, and possibly available (i.e. free) on the network ? Thanks Luigi Luigi Rizzo - Univ. di Pisa - Italy lr@cs.brown.edu, luigi@iet.unipi.it

This server is part of aux 2.0.1, but the same executable will run under system 6.0.4 or higher according to apple. They are selling it for $295 (list) through the dealers. I imagine it will be available by site license at most universities. I have also heard of an X server for the mac distributed by White Pine Software somewhere up in New Hampshire, but I don't know any details. Dave
