What are the currently available educational/advanced applications for Operations Research: LP-models and Econometrics and ARIMA time series? We have used LINDO, but it is not happy with MultiFinder and new environments. We send inquiry about upgrades to the manufacturer but got no responce. Are there better alternatives? LINDO is a clumsy mainframe/DOS port anyway... We also have RATS, but it has not acquired keen followers... Has anyone seen Shazam for Mac? What's it like?
