My mother is a professsional composer and needs a program to enter scores
in standard notation and print them on her HP Deskwriter.  She has a Mac
Classic that we intend to upgrade to an 68030.

I have read about Finale (which seems to have dropped in price from $1000
to $550 or so), but that may be more than she needs because she doesn't
have a MIDI system and will enter notes with keyboard or mouse.
(Is this really cumbersome?)  She's interested only in publishing, not
in sequencing or anything like that.

There's another product called Music Prose also from Coda - what's that?
