You might look at More (either 2 or 3), paying special attention to the Library
function, which allows you to set up custom calendars. It operates in every
other respect like any More outline.
As an aside, More's PC counterpart, GrandView, does almost exactly what you
would expect a very sophisticated to-do list to do! Each head and sub-head can
have several categories attached to it (user-defined) and outlines can be
viewed in terms of these categories (date due, person responsible, etc.) I had
hoped that More 3 would have some of that facility built-in, but I am still
using GrandView to do my scheduling.

Luck.

The scheduling software we purchased is pretty useful. It's part of the Smart
Alarms package from JAM software. But if you don't need anything fancy, knowing
how it works can save you some money. What these programs usually do, is locate
a special application file on your server. The application or DA scans all
mounted disks for it's files and loads them when you open the application. Well
Why not just keep a multi-user hypercard stack on your server instead?

This is not to be construed as a complaint about SmartAlarms. Our users like it. It's well priced for a small network. I recommend it for users who don't
like to tinker.

One problem, we use the 6.0.1 laserwriter drivers, and the program doesn't support them correctly. We have had only one user disapointed by this.
