My understanding of OzTeX is that it sets up its font files (.tfm and pk files) in the same manner as mainframe implementations of TeX. Does anyone out there have experience in (successful) Kermit'ing down of .tfm and .pkxxx files? I have been able to successfully install several .tfm files, but OzTeX complains of 'bad fixwords' in the pk files I have installed.

Quick notes: (1) Make sure you use binary mode in the file transfer. (2) Endianness doesn't matter --- I built the fonts on a 486. (3) I did this in an earlier version of OzTeX than the current one. It *is* possible that a small buglet managed to creep in along the line.... ++Brandon -- Me: Brandon S.
