I have about 400 photographs of various sizes up to 8 x 10 that I would like to scan and incorporate into a database. They are family photos some of which are 120 years old. My problem is that when I scanned about ten of them using a ScanMan 32 set for grays and then imported the scans into FileMaker Pro, the resulting database with just the ten photos (I also had about six text fields describing the photos) was about 700K in size. Does anyone know of an efficient way of generating a database of a reasonable size and speed for the number of photos that I have? I noticed that the latest MacWeek had a review of several products including MultiAd, etc. Are these types of programs what I need? Thanks very much, Armand Whitehead, BYU
