[comp.sys.mac.apps] MultiSpool

I just grabbed MultiSpool off of Sumex. I know that it's an INIT (at
least that's the folder it was in on Sumex), but that's as far as it
goes. Can anyone furnish me with some more info? Is MultiSpool
supposed to replace the Print Monitor? I hate being a clueless
senior... :-)

MultiSpool provides background printing under multifinder for the ImageWriter
and a few other printers. Just throw it in the system folder, then restart.
You should now see "MultiSpool" as the first "DA" in the apple menu. Select
MultiSpool. Hit the "Params" button and make sure the "start suspended" button
is not checked. Get out of MultiSpool and you should now have background
printing. (Note that the MultiSpool choice in the apple menu is created by
MulitSpool -- you don't have to load a DA).
