I didn't save the recent posting by the developers of NCSA TelNet who are in final beta testing of a new version. I hope they read this group. One of the most annoying "features" (it acts like a bug to me) of version 2.3 is that the cursor periodically changes. Since I do considerable dragging while in NCSA Telnet to print or to use my clipboard to save text, large fuzzy cursors that replace the crosshairs make it difficult to correctly position the cursor to highlight exactly what is desired. I hope the new version will at least make this feature optional. I was informed by UC Berkeley's workstation support people that it was built into version 2.3.
