[comp.sys.mac.apps] WORD 4.0--Help!

Anybody able to tell me how to do this?:

One long document, a middle section of which is a table which needs to
be printed in landscape format rather than portrait. Sure, I could
print them inrtions, but it's nice to work on something all
at once.

Ideas?

Thanks,

It's my understanding that you must treat each different orientation
as a separate document. You can make them into "one big document"
with the Next File feature under the Format Document.

A simple solution would be to format the table in MacDraw or something,
rotate it and then copy and paste into MS Word.

This is not the most elegant solution but it will work.

Apart from doing it in MacDraw (yuk), I am afraid you are stuck
with splitting your doc. into multiple files. You can't print
different pages of a document in different views, and won't be
able to until System 7 arrives I think. Splitting it up is not
really that much of a problem - I have just completed my Master's
Thesis, and it was split up into about 12 sections, each in a
separate file. As long as you set up your "next file" properly in
the Document format dialog, you should be fine.
