Thanks to Jonathan Eunice, lj@documail.uucp, Stephen Spencer, Charles Dubuque, Andreas Magnusson, Peter Evans, and (I'm sorry) two others who responded whose messages got inadvertantly trashed. The question dealt with "one long document, the middle section of which was a table best presented in landscape format," and how to best deal with it. The answers indicated the best way was to copy the table as a pict, paste it into MacDraw, Canvas, etc., rotate it 90 degrees, and paste it back into Word. This works. Another way is to leave room for the page(s) to contain the table by inserting hard page breaks in blank pages. This preserves any page numbering for the document. Then call up the landscape file and manually feed the already-printed page-numbered blank pages. Answers indicated that unfortunately, a section could not be defined which changed from portrait tro landscape, and then back again. This would probably be the best way, and a real advantage. Listening, M'soft? Again, Thanks to all. John
