Does anyone out there use XtreeMac? I've got version 1.02 and it crashes left and right. If I set the monitor to black and white (no gray) and use do not use Multifinder, it crashes a little later, but I still can't perform any use useful function before it crashes on me. I'm running a Mac IIcx, 6.0.3, 5Megs, SuperMac Screen, appleshare, timbuktu, quickmail. Anybody have good results with the product? Do I have an old version? james +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | James Peregrino | JPEREGRINO@HBSSTG.HARVARD.EDU | | Programmer/Analyst | PEREGRIN@HULAW1.BITNET | | Science & Technology Interest Group +-----------------------------------+ | Harvard Business School | HBS neither expresses nor implies | | Boston, MA 02163 | any warranty in any of the | | Voice:(617)495-6307 FAX:(617)495-0351 | opinions or alleged facts herein. | +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Have you seen "The NextBrowser" by Rick Scherle, 1355 Miravalle Ave., Los Altos, CA 94022, 415-962-8714? This shows your file directory in a tree-like structure, like that used on NeXT computers. I think it's freeware. It seems to only work on hard disks. (rgonzal@chowder.rutgers.edu)
