[comp.sys.mac.apps] Days between dates in Excel

To describe my problem I'll post the problem:

I want to have two cells contain a date in Excel's date format (m/d/yy) and
in the third cell have a formula that calculates days between dates.  Like
this:

4/12/91
4/13/91
      1

I was able to perform the date calculation, but unable to have the formula
grab the date from another cell without getting an error.  I do have the
manual and still I am stymied!
