Help! We just got the TrueType stuff from Apple and proceeded to upgrade our Mac network. We installed the new versions (v6.1) of the laserwriter driver, printmonitor, and backgrounder on all the machines. On some of the machines, we installed the TrueType init and fonts as well. We were happy, lost in jaggy-free bliss. Unfortunately something broke. Old Configuration: MacII or SE/30, System 6.0.7, Word 4.0C, MathType 2.0.3, LaserWriter Driver v5.2, Backgrounder 6.0.7, PrintMonitor 1.3 New Configuration: MacII or SE/30, System 6.0.7, Word 4.0C, MathType 2.0.3, LaserWriter Driver v6.1, Backgrounder 6.1, PrintMonitor 6.1 Problem: MathType equations which are pasted into Word documents fail to print. That pretty much sums it up. MathType documents print ok from inside MathType, but when cut and pasted into a Word doc they fail to print, or print with very odd scaling. We've tried this with and without the TrueType fonts installed and it makes no difference. What can we do? Who do we call? Any suggestions? --jon (j1whalen@handel.helios.nd.edu) -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon Whalen @ U. of Notre Dame | At the moment, I have absolutely nothing to j1whalen@handel.helios.nd.edu | say, which is probably for the best. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
