Hi There!! Does anyone know where I can get information about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the MAC or about Digitising and mapping packages? I am interested in packages that produce HIGH QUALITY output and are able to manipulate the sort of information that is inherent in map drawing. For example the CAD packages often allow you to move a square or rectangle around, add straight lines easily, etc., but maps rarely use many straight lines and squares. Mapping packages really need to deal with polygons and arcs rather than objects like circles. Please let me know if you have heard anything at all relating to mapping using a MAC II, or even any organisations that are using Macs for this purpose that I might be able to contact for more information.
