Thanks to everyone who replied to my request concerning Mathematica archive sites. This is a compilation of the replies I've recieved for the people who asked me about them. Also the newsgroup sci.math.symbolic on usenet has frequent discussions on Mathematica and notebooks. Regards Tony

Yup, it's mentioned in the dox. The archive is on Portal
(cup.portal.com for you internet types). Portal costs $13.95/month to
join, with no hourly charge.
For more information on Portal, call 408/973-9111 (voice) during
(PDT) business hours, or dial up your local Telenet port (hunt sequence
is "@D<cr>" repeated until "Terminal=" comes back; type "d1<cr>" in
response) and at the "@" prompt, type "c portal<cr>". Log on as "new".
