A short time ago there was a post from someone that was part of the Excel development team. I have a few questions for you. Why did y'all implement cut & paste as you did? It is very annoying to be forced to paste the clipboard imediatly after copying or cutting. Also, why is the selection 'uncut' if it isn't imedialy pasted somewhere? And finally, when editing the contents of a cell, why must the user click the 'x' or the check mark before Excel will recognize any command key equivalents? Many other programs (e.g. Microsoft Works) allow the user to do this. This is just irratating when trying to save, fill down/right and one other instance I can't recall now. Oh, I just thought of one more. Why can't the user just plot an X-Y graph instead of the way things are done now? These aren't really major, but they are bothersome enough that I try to avoid using Excel as must as possible. Ray (DJ) DeGennaro degennar@bmsrs.usc.edu
