I am currently running MS Word 4.0 on a classic with 4 megs of memory. I have a large number of fonts installed using only 4 suitcases. I am using Suitcase II to make the fonts accessable. My problem : MS word scrambles the names of the fonts under the font menus and sometimes doesn't even recognize the existance of a font. I have tried to increase the memory in the get info box of word, but this didn't help. If I open the suitcases in a different order, I get different results. The fonts I know for sure that I'm losing are graphic fonts. I haven't gone through the list to see if other types of fonts are dissappearing. I opened the suitcases with Res Edit and didn't find anything obviously different with the fonts. All other applications have no difficulty getting all of the fonts in the right order. When inside the COMMANDS box and FONT NAME" the fonts are in the right order, but the missing ones are still gone. Has anybody else experienced this problem ? Is it a bug in Word and will the new release take care of it ? Please Email me your responces, Thanks in advance, James Rush RUSH@ENVMSA.EAS.ASU.EDU
