[comp.sys.mac.apps] how to install DD in 7.0?

ramaley@csli.Stanford.EDU (Alan Ramaley) (05/17/91)

Hey folks. I'm trying to install the diskdoubler init under 7.0, and
it just isn't grokking. I've tried putting it at the top-level of the
system folder, in the extensions, and in the startup thing. Is it
just not compatible?

Assuming you're using DiskDoubler 3.2 (or 3.1.1), only the application works
with System 7, the INIT does not. Salient expects to release an update June
1.

Correct. You need to upgrade to version 3.7. Registered owners will recieve
a blurb on this next week, or you can call Salent (415/321-5375).

   It's $15 + $3.50 handling, unless you've purchased it quite recently.
