[comp.sys.mac.apps] Equation numbering

gscott@leland.Stanford.EDU (gregory scott) (05/16/91)

Is there any software that allows one to automatically number equations
in a MS Word document?

gscott@leland.Stanford.EDU (gregory scott) (05/17/91)

Many thanks to all who recommended the Shareware program WordRef 1.3.
It's available by ftp from site 129.3.1.1 or e-mail from the author,
Mark Nodine (man@cs.brown.edu). WordRef is exactly what I needed.

Indeed it is exactly what many of us needed. But how many of "us" have
paid the shareware fee?

Well, since you ask, I believe about 40 people have paid the ShareWare fee
to date. Quite a few of those people were outside of North America. The last
time I checked when WordRef was on sumex, there were over 600 people who had
downloaded the files, although of course many of them probably didn't continue
to use the thing. WordRef has also been distributed through comp.binaries.mac
and who knows how many got it from there.
