There is a little init called Eyeballs that puts up eyeballs on the menu bar that follow your cursor around. The only problem with it is that it is B&W. I wanted to add color to it, but am having little luck with resedit. Basically what I've done is to paste in a cicn resource and translate the B&W Icon resource into it. Then I made the resource numbers in the cicn equal to its counterpart in the icon resource. So I have the B&W stuff in the Icon and the color in the Cicn, both with the identical resource numbers. I reboot and it is still B&W...ack. Any suggestions? Steve hasses@prism.cs.orst.edu

it is likely that the INIT doesn't recognize your hard work. give up.
btw, this shouldn't be an INIT anymore. if i get a moment i'll write
a tiny MF app that does something similar (and friendlier, IMO).
ps: that's just my opinion concerning INITs vs. MultiFinder. your
mileage may vary ...

Anyone wanting eyes to watch them, should checkout Reagan Speaks. A neat multifinder (7.0 friendly) application that not only follows the cursor ( his eyes do) it will give you advice on compatible software for sys. 7.0. Look for it in the archives. I played for a day, then canned it. I can't afford to keep much shareware on my mac at work, and I can't yet afford one at home... You ought to be able to colorize the picts in this one.
