[comp.sys.mac.apps] Security Programs and System 7.0

Can anyone suggest a good security program that works with System 7?

I've been using DiskLock from Fifth Generation Systems, but it no
longer works with 7.0. When I ask FGS when a fix will be available, I
just get a "real soon now...call us in a month.".

I've heard Empower no longer works, either. Can someone confirm/deny?

I've tried Pyro! for simple protection, but for some reason it doesn't always
work. The screen saver works, but sometimes the password protection doesn't
seem to kick in.

Has anyone tried AfterDark?

Thanks!

What kind of protection are you looking for? Much of Kent*Marsh's [security]
product line is either already System 7.0 compatible, or very close (i.e.,
should be ready to ship by weeks end). Give them a call.

After Dark version 2.0u is advertized as compatible with System 7.0.
MacPassword version 3.8.8 is advertized as compatible with System 7.0.

I use both and like them very much (I have not yet upgraded to System 7.0
as there are too many other vendors behind schedule with their upgrades).
