[comp.sys.mac.apps] Excel column and row heading font: how to set?

Please forgive my ignorance. I recently updated to System 6.0.7 (yes, not
SYS7). When I opened Excel, the column and row heading are now in a strange
AND ugly font. The same with Wingz.

Will some nice soul help me to be able to change these row/col fonts?
